Real Estate Brokers Program
The Real Estate Agents/Associates Program is a prerequiste to the Real Estate Brokers Program. Any real estate industry member applying to RECA for a broker or associate broker licence on or after October 1, 2003 must have two years of licensed experience as a real estate agent within the five years preceding the application for the licence.

Real Estate Associates Program (REAP)
The Real Estate Associates Program (REAP) is developed and administered by the Alberta Real Estate Association (AREA) on behalf of the Real Estate Council of Alberta (RECA). Completion of the course and related examinations is one of the requirements to obtain a real estate associate licence from RECA.

Provincial Qualifying Exams (PQE's)
These exam dates are available to anyone writing an AREA exam. If you are taking a course at the CREB® you will have an exam scheduled for your class. Please consult your course schedule for the date of your class exam.

CREB® Orientation
After completing the Real Estate Associates Program (REAP), the next step, before licensing, is to become a member of CREB® in order to gain access to the MLS® Service. The CREB® Orientation Course is an 18-hour mandatory program needed to gain membership.

Unlicensed Real Estate Assistants Course
The Board of Directors recommend that all unlicensed real estate assistants take this two-day course.
