CREB® Orientation Program - 3 days PRINT | CLOSE

Prerequisites:
New Members are introduced to total interactive learning modules which involve a hands-on learning environment, where students are able to use MLXchange, WebForms, creb.com, SPIN, as well as other websites that they will use during their real estate career.
• Students will receive their security code during class in order to access MLXchange and the required websites.
• Tokens will be collected by CREB® staff at the end of Days 1 and 2 of the orientation session.
• New Members will receive their active token and full membership to CREB® systems upon the successful completion of the program on Day 3.

Orientation is three (3) full days, from 9:00am to 5:00pm. Be prepared to have to stay until 5:00pm.
• During these hands-on lab sessions, you will be introduced to the administrative functions of the CREB®, the By-Laws and Rules and Regulations as well as the roles of personnel and services that are provided to all of the members of the Board. You should bring a calculator and pen for these sessions. Attendance is 100% mandatory.

Days one to three – Learn to log in and out of the system, perform searches, learn shortcuts to get you there faster, search for listings, input and modify a listing and know how to create a prospect for the system. Overview of Listing Contract, Purchase Contracts and supporting documents, WEBforms, doing a CMA in MLXchange®, CREB® Input forms, CREB® ifax, Document Manager, SPIN, Touchbase, and realtor.ca sites.

At the end of Day 3, you will be required to complete an on-line Open Book Assignment which will grant you full membership privileges upon successful attainment of the 70% or better pass-mark required.

NOTE: To enroll in the Orientation Program you must have a signed sponsorship form from the Broker that you are licensed with. Immediately on licensing with RECA, we recommend that you register for the Orientation Program. You will also be required to complete the Membership Application forms as well as pay your membership fees. Seating is limited.

Students who arrive late will be asked to transfer to the next available course date.

The CREB® Orientation Course is an 18-hour mandatory program needed to gain membership. Please note that Orientation is only mandatory for CREB® membership and not for licensing with RECA.

Candidates must obtain sponsorship from a CREB® member brokerage firm in order to enroll in the Orientation Course. Sponsorship forms are available through sponsor brokers or from the CREB® Education Department. Candidates must provide a sponsorship form signed by a broker. Online registration is unavailable for Orientation.
