Prerequisites:
The Real Estate Associates Program (REAP) includes a broader range of content and in-depth information relevant to the real estate industry. This program includes vital updates affecting the daily business practices of real estate associates and meets or exceeds the education standards established by the Alliance for Canadian Real Estate Education (ACRE) and the Canadian Real Estate Regulators. The program is consisted of three phases: • Phase-1: Introduction to a Career in Real Estate (6-hours) • Phase-2: Fundamentals of Real Estate (96-hours) • Phase-3: Real Estate Areas of Practices (114-hours) Phase-2: Fundamentals of Real Estate Upon completion of this phase, students must write and pass a three hour Provincial Qualifying Examination (PQE). In order to qualify to write the exam, students must have attended a minimum of 90% of all classes. A minimum passing grade of 70% is required on the exam before moving on to Phase-3. Class: $1,595.00 Exam: $131.25 Total: $1,726.25 including GST Exam fee is paid online with Visa, Mastercard, American Express, or Paypal at the time of the exam. Pre-payment of the exam fee is not possible. If you do not show up for an exam that you are scheduled for, your credit card or CREB® account will be charged a $25.00 no-show fee. If you are unable to write the exam on the scheduled date, please notify the Education Department as soon as possible. Sign in for the exam begins at the stated time. You must arrive within 15 minutes of the sign in time in order to write the exam. There is no access into the CREB® building before 8:30am. Day classes on Mondays to Fridays from 9:00am to 4:00pm. • September 13 - October 4 (exam on October 6 at 8:30am) • October 4-26 (exam on October 28 at 8:30am) • November 1-23 (exam on November 14 at 12:30pm) • November 29 - December 20 (exam on December 21 at 12;30pm) Part-time classes on Tuesday & Thursday evenings from 6:30pm to 9:30pm, and Saturdays from 9:00am to 4:00pm.
