The horses are back in the stable, the boots are off and the Stetsons are packed away, but the memories of a fantastic stampede remain.
“Our dedicated volunteer committee organizers knocked it out of the barnyard, this year! Thank you to everyone who dusted off their boots and came out to join the stampede festivities.” said Aneve MacKay-Lyons CREB® Charitable Foundation Manager.
Hosting the event on the first day of Stampede and having beautiful weather helped drive ticket sales—which reached their highest levels in recent years.
This year’s REALTOR® Round Up was an overwhelming success which saw over 500 guests dawning their best western wear and enjoying the first celebrations of Stampede all while raising money for CREB® Charitable Foundation.
While the foundation is still tallying the total, it's fair to say we have raised the bar for future years.
REALTORS® work every day with clients in search of the right home; and now their philanthropic efforts will help low income families realize their home ownership dreams, too. Proceeds from REALTOR® Round Up will be donated to Habitat for Humanity Southern Alberta.
