Grants
The CREB® REALTOR® Community Foundation funds local non-profits working to create new housing, keep people housed and improve housing quality across Calgary and the surrounding area.
Since 1987, CREB® REALTORS® have invested more than $9.8 million into the community, supporting over 165 non-profit organizations focused on housing and shelter, as of the 2025 grant cycle.
This impact is delivered through three grant streams: Legacy Grants, Community Grants and Transformation Grants, each designed to address different housing and shelter needs.
2026 Grant Program
The CREB® REALTOR® Community Foundation is now accepting applications for its 2026 grant program.
For 2026, funding is available through two grant streams:
- Community Grants: Support major repairs or renovations to existing housing or shelter spaces—helping organizations keep people safely housed.
Total available funding: $240,000
- Transformation Grants: Fund smaller-scale renovations and improvements that enhance the quality of existing housing and shelter environments.
Total available funding: $120,000
Key dates
- Applications open: May 1, 2026
- Applications close: June 30, 2026
