2026 Community and Transformation Grants are open

The CREB® REALTOR® Community Foundation (CRCF) has opened grant applications for 2026, supporting housing- and shelter-related initiatives across Calgary and area. The foundation is awarding a total of $360,000 in funding this year through its Community and Transformation Grants.

The two grant streams are designed to support projects of varying scales and help organizations keep people housed and improve housing quality for those who need it most.

“Access to safe and stable housing is essential for strong communities,” said Christian Twomey, Chair of the CREB® REALTOR® Community Foundation. “These grants allow the REALTORS® who belong to the Calgary Real Estate Board the ability to support organizations that are making a meaningful difference for vulnerable Calgarians.”

Since 1987, CREB® REALTORS® have collectively invested more than $9.8 million into communities across Calgary and the surrounding area through the Foundation, supporting over 165 non-profit organizations focused on housing and shelter.

Community Grants
The Community Grant funds major repairs or renovations to existing housing or shelter spaces to help keep people housed in the community.

Transformation Grants
The Transformation Grant provides funding for minor renovation projects to existing infrastructure to improve housing quality for the community's most vulnerable residents.

Organizations in Calgary and surrounding areas are encouraged to review the grant funding guidelines and apply before the June 30, 2026 deadline.
