REALTORS Care® Day brings CREB® members together at the Calgary Dream Centre

There was no shortage of generosity at this year’s REALTORS Care® Day at the Calgary Dream Centre. On May 12, 66 CREB® members volunteered their time at the Dream Centre, with many other members contributing donations in the days and weeks leading up to the event.

Together, REALTORS® helped collect an overwhelming amount of clothing, food and hygiene items while supporting projects throughout the facility.

More than anything, the day was a powerful reflection of what happens when REALTORS® come together in support of their community.

Members rolled up their sleeves, connected with one another and spent the day giving back to an organization doing important work to support vulnerable Calgarians through housing, recovery and community programs.

REALTORS Care® Day builds on the CREB® REALTOR® Community Foundation’s ongoing partnership with the Calgary Dream Centre, which received the Foundation’s $1 million three-year Legacy Grant in 2025 to support safe, accessible housing in Calgary.

The event also continued the momentum from a previous REALTORS Care® Day held at the Dream Centre in November 2025, where CREB® REALTORS® volunteered sorting donations, preparing meals, organizing the food pantry and helping prepare transitional housing units for repair.

CREB® would like to thank the Calgary Dream Centre for welcoming volunteers into their space, as well as representatives from CREA for joining volunteers throughout the day and helping make the event even more special.

Most importantly, thank you to every CREB® member who contributed — whether through volunteering, donating or supporting the initiative behind the scenes. Seeing so many REALTORS® represented and coming together to make a tangible impact in the community was something truly special.
