For the second year, sites around Calgary are baring all in the name of promoting public interest in heritage and architecture.
The Doors Open concept has been making its way around the globe since the first event in France in 1984 with initial Canadian appearances in Toronto and Montreal. Last year's event in Calgary saw 16,500 visits with the support of more than 200 volunteers.

Repairing Calgary's Pathways
After significant flood damage, 57 kilometres of Calgary pathways — of the 93 affected — have been reopened in just over two months.
While progress has been made, the 36 remaining kilometres of about 25 sections of pathway will take time to repair due to environmental and landownership considerations.

12 - Month Home Price Inflation at 2.3 Per Cent
In a report from Teranet, the Teranet-National Bank National Composite House Price Index increased to an all-time high in August.
"Though this was an acceleration from July, the 12-month gains in the five months ending in August were the smallest since November 2009," said the report.
