The Yellow Patch Problem
When I got my first — and only — dog Kepla, a friend insisted, "training a dog to pee on demand is perfect when you are in a hurry during the morning walk."
As I have since learned, a number of dogs and their owners do not know this basic skill and dogs continue to pee on lawns instead of back alleys or gravel pads. In lieu of dog training, new products are still being released to "solve the problem".

Known for the historic brick home that served as residence to wrestling's Hart family, the community also takes its name from the home's prior occupant, Judge Henry Stuart Patterson.

Government Changes Course
Calgary's REALTORS® are welcoming the province's decision to back down on its "rash" decision to require mandatory warnings on land titles for properties in areas at risk for flooding.
"They weren't in a position to make any decisions," said CREB® President Becky Walters. "So why somebody decided to come out with that kind of a rash announcement was really just a reaction to the capacity they were dealing with at that point, and somebody said 'What about the future?'
