Calgary Chamber Releases 2013 Outlook
Despite slower growth and a global economic downturn, the Calgary Chamber is predicting Calgary and Alberta will continue to lead the country in economic growth in 2013.
"The risks of a global downturn are now higher than they've been since 2008," said Calgary Chamber chief economist Ben Brunnen. "But despite the weakened global economy, Calgary and Alberta will continue to be the envy of the country in the year ahead."

Haunted Calgary: Outbreak
Since 1987, the Campbell family in the Calgary community of Rocky Ridge has been transforming their home into a veritable cornucopia of Halloween scares while raising money for a good cause.
"It started just as a way to keep kids entertained on the street and then within the first couple years I was known at the school as a witch," said Myrna Campbell laughing. "Every year it grows bigger and bigger and more and more. More elaborate, more details."
