CREB® is excited to announce that our communications team has won a prestigious Gold Quill Award from the International Association of Business Communicators (IABC).
This recognition was the result of more than two years of work, shifting the department business model from tactical mode to strategic thought partner.
With the right people and process, we deployed an internal campaign called Shifting Gears, which was submitted to the Gold Quill Awards about three months ago in the Change Management category.
The award will be presented to CREB® at IABC's global conference this June in Montreal. This win is not only a major feather in the cap for the communications team, but also for CREB® as an organization.
In the communications industry, a Gold Quill Award is the pinnacle achievement for high performance.
Here are some quotes from the chief evaluator who graded our submission:
“This is a very clever piece of work that has been carefully thought through. Rational and emotional elements have been factored in to ensure the tone and style of communication matches the audience needs and business objectives.”
“This entry provides a thorough explanation of what was needed, demonstrates great execution and explains the achievement of results. It is an innovative approach to a common problem many communication teams have.”
“Very clear link between works samples and the business needs and the role they played in the work.”
“What a joy to see that such a seemingly difficult situation was approached in a clear, almost scientific yet humane way to lead to great results. A joy to read.”
“The results presented demonstrate real progress, and they make it easy to see this progress.”
