CREB® REALTOR® Community Foundation kicks off 2022 with winter 50/50 raffle
Tickets are now available for CREB® REALTOR® Community Foundation’s first 50/50 Cash Raffle of 2022, with all proceeds going to local non-profit organizations that provide housing and shelter to those who need it most.
Powered by Calgary-and-area REALTORS®, the foundation supports local non-profits to create new housing, keep people housed and improve housing quality.
The Foundation awarded its 2021 Legacy Grant of $300,000 to non-profit real estate developer and property manager HomeSpace Society to support its Sierra Place project, which will see a downtown office tower converted into affordable housing units.
The Foundation also awarded six Community and Transformation Grants in 2021, totalling $100,000. The Community Grant recipients were the Calgary Dream Centre, Calgary Drop-In and Rehab Centre Society, and Ronald McDonald House Charities Alberta. The Transformation Grant recipients were the Calgary Seniors’ Resource Society, Closer to Home Community Services and Sonshine Community Services.
Raffle ticket sales end Feb. 6 and the winner will be announced on Feb. 8. That lucky individual will take home a minimum cash prize of $4,000, but they could win up to $10,000.
Participants must reside in Alberta and be 18 years of age or older. Tickets can currently be purchased in the following increments: one for $10, four for $20, 20 for $50, or 100 for $100, with a limited number of tickets available at each price tier.
