CREB® REALTOR® Community Foundation launches 50/50 raffle in support of housing and shelter charities

As the Calgary Flames' and Edmonton Oilers' game-day raffle results from last year's NHL playoff bubble demonstrate, Albertans love a good 50/50 draw.

Those 50/50 fans are in luck, because tickets are now available for the CREB® REALTOR® Community Foundation's 50/50 Cash Raffle, with all proceeds going to local non-profit organizations that provide housing and shelter solutions.

Powered by Calgary-and-area Realtors, the CREB® REALTOR® Community Foundation supports local non-profits to create new housing, keep people housed and improve housing quality.

Recent recipients of foundation grants include Habitat for Humanity Southern Alberta, Inn from the Cold, Kids Cancer Care Foundation of Alberta, Calgary Women's Emergency Shelter, Discovery House Family Violence Prevention Society and Emma Maternity House Society.

Raffle ticket sales end May 21, with the winner drawn and announced on May 28.

Participants must reside in Alberta and be 18 years of age or older. Players can currently purchase tickets in the following increments: one for $10, four for $20, 20 for $50, or 100 for $100, with a limited number of tickets available at each price tier.
