Calgary REALTOR® elected vice-president of Canadian Real Estate Association

The Canadian Real Estate Association (CREA) recently announced the election of Cliff Stevenson as vice-president of its board of directors.

"I'm very thankful for the trust from my fellow directors," said Stevenson. "With a great executive and a fantastic board of directors, I'm really excited to get more work done for the membership."

Stevenson served as CREB® president in 2016, leading several initiatives to maximize excellence in technology.

"It is a rare and remarkable honour for a CREA director to be elected vice-president after serving only one year on our national board of directors. This is a tribute to Cliff's leadership skills and his grasp of the issues important to REALTORS®? across Canada," said CREB® CEO Alan Tennant. "We look forward to supporting Cliff in this important role and to his continued leadership nationally and internationally."

In addition to his new role as vice-president, Stevenson is CREA's regional director for Alberta, participates on several committees and is a past-chair of CREA's technology committee. He has worked in real estate for over a decade, while demonstrating a tremendous passion for the industry.

"Volunteerism is the life blood of our industry," said Stevenson. "That is what moves the needle. It's a phenomenal opportunity for us to shape what organized real estate looks like going forward."
