Calgary, Alberta – The economic situation in Alberta has impacted all aspects of the economy, including housing demand. However, price declines have been only slightly lower than expectations, as easing amounts of new listings has prevented steeper gains in supply levels, CREB® said today in its 2016 mid-year update.
Detached versus higher-density segments: two very different stories in August

City of Calgary – Overall sales activity was down again in August, totaling 1,567. However, this figure does not reflect the big differences in activity between the detached sector, versus the high density apartment and attached segments of the market.
