Cannabis consumption dos and don'ts after Oct. 17
While the legalization date has been set for many months, some confusion remains about where Calgarians will be able to smoke, vape or eat cannabis and cannabis products after Oct. 17. Here's a handy guide:
*Cannabis consumption is regulated by the City of Calgary and the Province of Alberta. Exemptions exist for the consumption of medical cannabis. According to the City of Calgary, "Although edible cannabis products such as brownies and cookies cannot be legally sold until further federal and provincial regulations, edible cannabis products may be made at home."
